Piano’Scape will take place on the 345-acre campus of The Dublin School in Dublin, NH (the highest village in NH, and home of Yankee Magazine), which overlooks Dublin Lake and a beautiful valley surrounded by distant mountains. Nearby Peterborough, NH offers summer professional theater, art galleries, shopping and evening dining (breakfast and lunch will be provided at The Dublin School).

Offers a musical interlude session
in the beautiful Monadnock Region of Southern New Hampshire
Saturday, August 16 until Saturday, August 23

PROGRAMS:
Piano'Scape offers adult piano students an opportunity to study and further their musical skills. It is open to all adults, from beginner to advanced levels, who enjoy sharing their love of piano playing and music. Piano'Scape includes:

 

  • Daily private lessons with Cathy Campbell (classical), Bob Rodriguez (contemporary jazz), and Bob Pettegrew (traditional swing/stride)
  • Master classes; lectures; classes: beginner and advanced ear training, theory and chord structure, overcoming performance anxiety, improvisation; concerts; ensemble playing; workshops; open jam sessions; open faculty sessions; a faculty recital; a student recital (participation is optional, but encouraged).
  • A welcoming reception and dinner, and the chance to enjoy other local cultural events. New student orientation at registration time (Saturday, August 16).
  • Generous practice time; pianos are located around the campus so that each student is assured of privacy.
  • Dorm accommodations with private or semi-private rooms.
  • Breakfast and lunch served daily prepared by the school chef.
  • A catered dinner at the school during the week (included in the tuition).
  • A private Friday night “going home” dinner at a local restaurant, and a ticket to the Peterborough Players -- one of the country's oldest, leading professional summer stock theatres. Both are included in the tuition.
