Bob Pettegrew, Traditional Swing/Stride Piano.
  • Studied with contemporary pianist Tommy Taylor in New York, Eugene Uman and Harvey Diamond at the Vermont Jazz Center, and with the late Tom Gallant, contemporary/jazz pianist and Music Department Chair at Exeter Academy, Exeter, NH.
  • Involved in solo performances, vocal accompaniment and small combo groups around New England.
  • Teaches piano (including chordal structure/theory) in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. His playing reflects the stride-base style of the '30s and '40s a-la Teddy Wilson.
  • Management Consultant and voice-over artist, who records commercials for TV and radio – as well as educational, training and industrial DVDs.

 

Paula Croucher, Classical Piano

  • Teaches piano and theory in Ottawa, Ontario.
  • Former student of Cathy Campbell.
  • Achieved Level 9 Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), Ottawa, Ontario with honors in piano.
  • Received First Class Honors with Distinction in Music Theory, RCM -- studied with Sandra Cooke.
  • Currently studying with Betty Jo Barker to complete (June 2008) final graded level of piano studies with RCM.
  • Attends master classes and lectures sponsored by The University of Ottawa featuring Angele Hewitt, Marc Durand, Jean-Paul Sevilla and Leon Fleisher.
  • Graduate of Algonquin College in Developmental Services. Currently working for OCAPDD as a Developmental Counselor in a residential facility.
